Welcome to the Official Website of Mill Bay Waterworks District
Coronavirus (COVID-19) - OFFICE CLOSURE
The health and safety of our customers and employees is the top priority of our Board of Trustees. Please see below under Recent News, a list of resources where you can find factual information on COVID-19 causes and preventative measures.
MBWD staff is still in the office to help you with any questions you may have, but we are closed to the public. We encourage online banking for your payments to your MBWD accounts, or you may drop off payment at the office through a secured mail slot in the front door. Closing the office to the public will limit contact with office staff to keep them healthy and available to maintain the water system's operations. Please visit https://www.millbaywaterworks.ca/bill-payment for information on making payments and where to find your account number for utility billing or your roll number for parcel tax.
Call or email and keep checking our website for updated information.
Bill Payment Options
Please ensure when paying online that you have the correct account numbers. Toll Utility Invoices are the "account number" at the top of your invoice, and Parcel Tax Invoices are the "roll number" at the top of your invoice. Please see the samples below. You will have TWO Mill Bay Waterworks payees set up in your online banking.
Interested in eBilling and Pre-Authorized Payments? Looking for the most convenient way to pay your bill? We offer a wide variety of payment options to our customers. Choose the option that best suits your needs... Learn more...

We are actively seeking a new District Manager for our client, the Mill Bay Waterworks District (MBWD), a Local Improvement District. Reporting directly to the Board of Trustees this is a unique opportunity to have a direct impact on the local community, serving both residents and businesses. The mission of MBWD is simple: “to provide safe, clean, potable water to all of our residents”.
