MBWD would like to keep the community of Mill Bay in the loop after recent reports in the news about lead in drinking water.

MBWD consistently delivers drinking water to users that exceeds the Canadian Drinking Water Guidelines. The District is not concerned with our water quality and complete full spectrum testing is completed annually which includes lead.  Please see our test result here and look for results on the Blending Tank or 1-WS-10.

As per a statement from the Environmental Health Officer of Vancouver Island Health Authority, sampling for lead in homes is the responsibility of the homeowner. Please find more information on our Resources Tab - Water Quality Information
